Having performed the move for years without injury, Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman geared up to land his patented Bronco Buster on Jerry Lynn during an independent show in 2013. Lynn moved, causing Waltman to go crotch-first into the corner turnbuckle. Even though he'd done this hundreds of times, Sean managed to err, literally ripped his anus apart.

Admit it: you just recoiled in horror at the thought. Bleeding profusely from his rear end, X-Pac was rushed in for emergency surgery and had to go through the indignity of a sphincteroplasty to repair the damage. Waltman has been able to joke about this since, but it's true that he very nearly bled to death before the ambulance arrived on scene.

Waltman didn't become distressed by the obscene amount of blood until later, which meant he was eerily close to bleeding out before medics could tend to him. What a horrific injury, and one of the most random in wrestling history.
