10 Wrestlers Who Appeared In Genre Fare

6. Goldberg - Universal Soldier: The Return

Bill Goldberg has the look of a Hollywood action star, he just never quite got there. He's the type of guy you'd expect to see in The Expendables franchise (hey, Stone Cold Steve Austin made it into the first one!), and he does have a few flicks to his name. When it comes to genre, the one that stands out is Universal Soldier: The Return.

Unfortunately for Goldberg, this happened to be the wrong Universal Soldier movie to be in.

The original, of course, was actually a pretty solid movie, featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. Then, after two made-for-TV (read: low budget) sequels came Universal Soldier: The Return. It would be the last theatrical release for Van Damme for a decade or so, be universally panned, and was so bad that later sequels would outright ignore or contradict it, to the point that it's no longer considered part of the Universal Soldier canon.

Goldberg played a super soldier named Romeo in the film, but honestly, unless you're a diehard Goldberg fan, or just have to watch every Universal Soldier movie, there's not much worth seeing here.
