10 Wrestlers Who Appeared In Recent TV Shows You Probably Missed

4. Tyrus (Love And The Purge)

Tyrus is no stranger to a TV camera. The former WWE and current IMPACT! wrestler has been a talking head on The Greg Gutfeld Show and other Fox News programs for a half-decade in addition to his recurring roles in shows like Preacher, Syn, and GLOW. But it is always a head-turning moment when the intimidating heavyweight appears in frame.

Twice in 2018, the former Brodus Clay appeared out of nowhere as a background character. Neither are much of a stretch for the plodding hulk, either. The first role was in sappy Netflix series Love, where he plays an indie wrestler named Keith the Cremator. He gets the honor of squashing a fan who crashes the ring. A few months later, he appeared as a guard on the TV mini-series The Purge, a more understated role that makes much better use of Tyrus' intimidating stature.

For such a unique looking actor, Tyrus is really at his best as a threat lurking in the background. Don't give him much to do, and he'll still take over the scene.
