Michael Elgin, perhaps the second most famous Canadian wrestling expat in Japan, has been quietly producing some of the best work in all of NJPW in the two years since he made his way east following successful stints in Ring of Honor and PWG.

Despite a physique and look that one would fit perfectly underneath WWE's bright lights, it is curious that the 30-year-old doesn't yet appear to be on the radar of the company's scouts (not that anyone would complain if he were to carry on a while yet in New Japan).

Elgin has been a staple on NJPW match-cards over recent months, and his encounters with the likes of Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito prove that he is every bit as good as the natives.
