10 Wrestlers Who Are Surprisingly Not All Elite...Yet
2. Flip Gordon
Longtime fans of The Young Bucks and their YouTube show 'Being the Elite' remember the days when Flip Gordon was a key part of the show. Before All Elite Wrestling was even a company, Flip was running around like a chicken with his head cut off trying to get himself booked on All In, the event that ultimately led to the creation of AEW.
Due to his association with all members of The Elite, the United States Army veteran seemed like a lock to be one of the first names signed to AEW. It was not to be, as not only was Gordon signed to Ring of Honor at the time, but also opted to re-sign with the company in May of 2020. While the door to Dynamite seemed closed, a window opened when ROH released their entire roster as a part of the company's shut down in 2021.
Since then, the former VIllian Enterprise member has remained out of the spotlight, wrestling a handful of independent shows as opposed to signing with one of the larger companies. As one of the best high flyers in the world, on top of his connections to the top stars of All Elite Wrestling, means Wednesday and Friday nights could be getting a taste of Flip Gordon at any time.
