There's a bit of spice to this one, because you might be sitting there thinking the old SmackDown Women's Title definitely wasn't a World Championship. Let's roll with it, 'cause that belt follows the same title lineage as the current Women's World strap on Raw. Therefore, Liv Morgan's 2022 nightmare counts.

Liv won Money In The Bank then cashed in on Ronda Rousey hours later. That lightning bolt of a start should've led to bigger and better things, but WWE creative outright failed to get behind Morgan's reign. Why? They were still obsessed with the thought of Ronda Rousey tackling Charlotte Flair, basically.

Liv was a third wheel.

Booking for her title reign was awful. She defended a messy finish vs. Ronda at SummerSlam, and that earned boos from a crowd who were supposed to view her as an underdog babyface. Come October, WWE had decided to cut things short by putting the title back on Rousey at Extreme Rules.

Morgan was collateral.
