There were periods between 2017-2018 when Becky Lynch struggled to even get on TV. At one point, to explain why she hadn't been around, Becks said that she'd been too busy eating some "damn fine quinoa" backstage. Yeah, things weren't exactly going well for the former SmackDown Women's Champ.

A conversation with Shawn Michaels on the set of The Marine 6 changed her mindset. HBK said she had to be more aggressive and present herself properly behind the scenes, and Lynch listened. Then, an errant punch from Nia Jax during the 2018 Survivor Series build left her with a bloody nose and an iconic image.

'The Man' was born.

That gimmick definitely brought Becky back from the brink of total WWE collapse. Here's an illustration of how things turned around. At WrestleMania 34, the smiling babyface took part in a pre-show Battle Royal. One year later at 'Mania 35, Lynch headlined the show by winning it all to become a double champion.

What a shift.
