10 Wrestlers Who Claimed To Be Social Media Hacking Victims

10. Snitsky's Homophobic Hacking?

Released by WWE in 2008, Gene Snitsky was at one point considered by the company to be someone they could develop into a top star, but his time in the main event spotlight was limited, teaming with another top-line abortion, John Heidenreich to take on The Undertaker. Apart from that awkward tandem, Snitsky is most famous for his interactions with Kane and Lita, and for being written in as a character who had a foot fetish, seriously. Away from the ring, the man lists himself as an actor, but was back in the wrestling news in 2011 following some rather vitriolic tweets about homosexuals, and his former peer, The Miz. Tweeting that Miz 'couldn't hold his jockstrap', Snitsky later reneged on the comments, claiming his account was hacked, and promising to get to the bottom of it all. Intriguingly, this remorse was only evident once negative feedback to the original posts had flooded in, and it seemed for all the world like the big man had done some things he later regretted.
