10 Wrestlers Who Claimed To Be Social Media Hacking Victims
5. Booker T Gets Hacked By The KKK?
By far one of the most serious examples of hacking to have happened to a big-name wrestling star, Booker T's apparent hacking at the hands of KKK followers is truly bizarre, and a sobering reminder that it's not cool to have your personal details out there in the public domain. In 2012, Booker's Twitter page was breached, causing both his and wife, Sharmell's address and phone number to be pasted online. In addition to that violation of privacy, the former WCW and WWE World Champion had racist propaganda and messages leaking out all over the place, all linked to the registered hate group, Klu Klux Klan, which must have been incredibly embarrassing for the man. Instantly, fans realised that this was a definite case of someone being hacked, and that Booker was powerless to prevent the messages going online. A lot of people sympathised immediately with the guy, and cheerfully his problems were resolved not long after, but what a scare he must have had when seeing his home's zip code and mobile phone number out there for all to see.
