10 Wrestlers Who Could Be In Edge's New WWE Stable
4. Viking Raiders
It beggars belief that WWE hasn’t been able to properly utilise Erik and Ivar. In their indie/NXT guise they could have been a fantastic, hard hitting yet surprisingly mobile tag team. Presented in the more cartoonish fashion the main roster has occasionally utilised, they could have been real merch movers and fan favourites for the younger crowd.
Instead, they’ve mainly done a whole lot of nothing, with the odd push that quickly fizzled out and the interminable series of contests with Street Profits. Aesthetically speaking, they’d need very little adjustment to fit into Edge’s stable. Indeed, the group’s leader has portrayed a viking on TV and looks increasingly like a grizzled Norse warrior. If the group’s MO is to dish out beatings, the former War Machine would be perfect.
Lord knows WWE’s tag scene needs a shot in the arm, so wasting Viking Raiders seems bananas. They’ve not been taken seriously for a bit of a while; this union could redress the balance in an instant.
