10 Wrestlers Who Could Be The AJ Styles Of 2017
1. Ricochet / Prince Puma
Of all the wrestlers on this list, Ricochet is not only the most likely to sign with WWE in 2017 but also the most likely to rise to the top quickly.
Having made a name for himself wherever he's gone - be it in Lucha Underground as Prince Puma and becoming the first ever LU champion, or in New Japan where he's captured IWGP junior heavyweight tag team gold - rumours are rife that the 28-year-old sensation will finally step foot in a WWE ring next year.
He already resides in Orlando, Florida so it wouldn't be a big surprise if he were to show up in NXT next year. Word is that the only thing delaying any debut in Full Sail is having to wait for Lucha Underground season 3 and the episodes he's filmed to finish airing on TV, as per the terms of his contract.
As one of the most exciting high flyers in the world and with unparalleled athleticism, it really wouldn't take long for Ricochet to capture the imaginations of the NXT audience, but we really believe he could make serious waves on the main roster too if he were given the chance. Just imagine Seth Rollins vs Ricochet on Raw in 2017.
