10 Wrestlers Who Could Be The Next Big Thing In WWE

1. Uhaa Nation

If anyone€™s got the skills and the presence to bust through the rumoured glass ceiling for wrestlers of colour in the WWE, it€™s Sesugh €˜Uhaa Nation€™ Uhaa. Both a high flyer and a powerhouse wrestler, Uhaa Nation is a recent signee to a WWE developmental contract, an old buddy of fellow NXT performers Kevin Owens and Finn Bálor. Around 260 pounds and some change, built like a wall with an astonishing vertical leap, we€™re talking about a man who combines a brawling, intense power style with the moveset of a luchador half his size. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWqA3yqrW6M But he€™s not a freakishly large spotmonkey: Uhaa knows how to work and how to talk, utilising quality ring psychology and storytelling to perform those athletic feats when they count, not just for the sake of it. He€™s something the WWE crowd hasn€™t often seen before €“ a wrestler capable of surprising them. Brock Lesnar was one back in the day as was, as was the Undertaker. Cesaro is one now. The only thing that might stand in his way is that whispered about glass ceiling€ is it true that black wrestlers can€™t make it to the top of the mountain in WWE? It looks like we€™re about to find out, because Uhaa Nation is coming€ assuming he retains that name of course, and assuming that WWE don€™t contrive to drop the ball here, too. Years of being let down has made us skittish and gunshy. Who do you believe could be the next big thing in WWE? Anyone on the main roster, or on NXT? Perhaps you€™ve got a favourite indie wrestler not yet signed. Let us know in the comments!
