In the worst feud of 2017, Bayley as a babyface died a death.

There exists such a thing as “sister emotions”. No, not Shane McMahon marvelling at his sister’s “cute puppies”, as he did in a 1999 interview with Michael Landsberg - but emotions that are close to others. Sarcasm is a relative of and often precedes anger. It’s usually what you feel before entering a melt-down. Anger also manifests as embarrassment - and Alexa Bliss looked very embarrassed when she had to perform ‘This Is Your Life’ in May 2017.

In the segment, Alexa claimed that Bayley still plays with dolls and once won an award for sportsmanship. The segment was legendarily awful. When the crowd weren’t shouting “What?”, you could audibly hear them groan. When Alexa pressed Bayley’s old teacher - who claimed that her father had to sit in class with her to prevent her from crying - she stumbled over her words. Knowing how badly it was going and how much worse it was going to get, Alexa could only babble nervously. In a bizarre running joke, Bayley’s father also escorted her on dates with her high school boyfriend.

Bayley, who hardly looked happy herself, eventually tried to bring the segment to an end. She got her ass kicked lol.

It is segments like this that make Paul Levesque look like Mark Twain in comparison.
