10 Wrestlers Who Did Unusual Things Vince McMahon Hated

7. Titus O'Neil: Touched Him On National Television

Vince McMahon loves a cuddle. But, funnily enough, the man who is similarly delighted by bad jokes, snow cones and dog sh*t doesn't use a normal word, like cuddle, or hug, to describe the act. Vince McMahon likes a huggie!

Vince also likes his daughter. A lot. Too much, one might say.

Knowing that Vince McMahon doesn't mind being touched, something everybody learned with a grimace throughout the Ruthless Aggression Era, Titus, grasping also the law that everybody must be subservient to Stephanie McMahon, tried to convince Vince to make way for his daughter as he left the RAW stage following Daniel Bryan's retirement ceremony. Vince was apoplectic in response, shoving Titus away.

Titus, speaking last year on Lillian Garcia's Chasing Glory podcast, claimed that he still couldn't understand Vince's response, which infamously took the form of a very severe 60 day suspension. This was reduced from 90, which itself was reduced from a firing. He was talked out of that by Triple H and Joey Mercury. Batista advised Titus to quit in the aftermath, which was misjudged. Batista's heart was in the right place, but then, so was O'Neil. He wasn't about to go kill it in New Japan.

Vince McMahon did belatedly understand the "ladies first" rule of etiquette two years later; get Evolution out of the way, and then take the massively problematic Saudi Arabia money.
