10 Wrestlers Who Fell Out Of Love With Wrestling

4. Batista

Dave Bautista/'Batista' may have made a return to WWE in 2014, but he makes no secret of the fact that he's not really into what the promotion are presenting nowadays. Citing the child-friendly direction as a major pet peeve of his, 'The Animal' doesn't believe that pro wrestling should be 'PG', something millions of fans around the globe agree with him about. A few years ago, Batista was fined by Vince McMahon for spilling blood during a Steel Cage against Chris Jericho, something which must have stuck in his craw just a little bit, considering it hadn't been so long before that time that McMahon would have been encouraging his wrestlers to 'get colour' and heighten the drama of their matches. It's pretty fascinating to hear Batista talk about how he prefers the way things used to be, and it was eye-opening to hear him talk about how he feels WWE will go back to a more aggressive, violent product given time, especially considering he was under contract whilst saying these words on Jericho's podcast! It seems that the man isn't interested in working anywhere other than WWE, but he also isn't captivated by the thought of working in a sterile environment.
