10 Wrestlers Who Had No Business Being Inside The Elimination Chamber
5. Vladimir Kozlov
The rise and fall of Vladimir Kozlov in WWE is well-documented: he was a guy that never had any business being in the main event scene, much less anywhere near the top of the card. In one of the most horrendous pay-per-view events in recent WWE history, he met Triple H for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series 2008 and was unsuccessful in winning the gold.
Despite his failed main event push that year, he continued to be featured prominently on the SmackDown brand well into 2009, earning him a spot in the Elimination Chamber for the WWE title. He qualified for the bout by beating Festus of all people, and if that wasn't a red flag, I'm not sure what would have been.
Unsurprisingly, Kozlov bored fans to tears with his performance inside the Chamber. He had the look Vince McMahon likes, but he was brutal to watch in the ring, which was evident in this contest.
With zero eliminations, he didn't do anything of note other than get himself taken out by The Undertaker. That essentially spelled the end of his time as a top-tier talent, suffering his first singles loss a mere three weeks later and being left off the WrestleMania 25 card.
