10 Wrestlers Who Had Their Best Runs In WWE

1. The Undertaker

In 1990, a fresh-faced rookie by the name of Mark Calaway met with the head honchos of WCW in hopes of securing a moderate pay increase. Instead, the only thing he received was a back-handed compliment - “Mark, you’re a great athlete, but no one is ever going to pay money to see you wrestle”.

30 years, seven world titles and a never-to-be-repeated streak of Wrestlemania victories later, it's safe to say WCW made another blunder there.

For many of us, The Undertaker is WWE. From the last days of Hulkamania through the struggles of the New Generation; as the Attitude Era gave way to Ruthless Agression; from the PG Era to now, The Undertaker has been a constant in WWE programming. Watching the man evolve from the wrestling zombie of the 90's to the super-worker he became in the noughties was a privilege, and although his latter day career had more misses than hits (thanks, Super Showdown) the sound of that gong echoing throughout the arena will never fail to cause a shiver in our hearts.

Regardless how you feel about him making another comeback, the fact is there will never be another wrestler like The Undertaker.
