10 Wrestlers Who Have Gone As Far As They Will Go In WWE

8. Bayley

WWE actively enjoys humiliating its roster members. WWE is also hapless enough creatively to depict the in-ring talents as geeks almost passively. It is a toxic organisation, and this toxicity bleeds onscreen.

We were stupid to ever believe in Bayley. We were about as stupid as Bayley is portrayed as onscreen, and the Bayley character is very stupid. The Bayley character is an absolute loser who doesn't know the rules. She didn't know that you can't simply enter yourself in a match. She didn't want to bend the rules, either, when booked to participate in a Kendo Stick On A Pole Match at last year's Extreme Rules event. The Bayley character should know all this. She was a lifelong WWE "Superfan!"

To put into perspective the sheer extent to which this cynical and vile company can't get Bayley over because they simply do not understand her genuine, charming appeal, Bayley is more knackered now than she was even then. She follows Sasha Banks around like a lost puppy who is too thick to even realise that the vet injected her a year ago. That's all she does. And, since WWE is obsessed with putting the heat on heels, there is absolutely no chance of Bayley receiving a push during or in the aftermath of this intermittent Sasha Banks programme. And, if WWE turns Bayley, that is in itself is a failure.

It's grim, it really bloody is. Bayley was this expression of pure hope so authentic and earnest that she reduced grown men to children in 2015. Three years later, this applies to Bayley.

Not metaphorically.
