10 Wrestlers Who Knew They Were On The Way Out
7. Brock Lesnar (WrestleMania XX)
Brock Lesnar had nothing left to lose when he flipped off WWE's home base on what he genuinely believed would be his last ever night as a professional wrestler all the way back in 2004.
He'd lost his WWE Championship to Eddie Guerrero the prior month, he'd lost what had once been a dream match to Bill Goldberg, and he was about to lose the spotlight courtesy of a Stone Cold Stunner. All were deemed reasonably casualties to stop him losing his mind.
Lesnar had grown tired of the horrendous grind of being a WWE Superstar, including the heat he'd received for sorting his own private flights just to try and make some of that grind a little bit easier. What played as petulant to the New York loyalists was pure exasperation from 'The Beast'. It wasn't his job to care about them anymore, especially as he prepared to look at the Madison Square Garden lights one last time.
