10 Wrestlers Who MUST Be In AEW's Owen Hart Cup Tournament
6. Sammy Guevara
Right now, Sammy Guevara is in limbo. The Spanish God has a firm footing in The Inner Circle, but as far as his singles career goes, he's pretty hit and miss. His win/loss record is decent, but he's only ever involved in singles matches relating to his stable. Thus, this is a perfect chance for him to take a break and show off his solo potential.
Assuming his upcoming TNT Title match with Miro doesn't go his way, that is.
His entry into this tournament wouldn't just be good for him but also AEW itself as he'd got all the right stuff to be on par with Owen's spirit. Guevara's in-ring work and sense of humour blend perfectly inside the squared circle, giving him a distinct feeling of severity and comedy, which captures two of the best qualities Hart brought to the wrestling world.
It's a sure-fire hit, and there's a great story to be told about Guevara striking out on his own whilst still receiving the moral support of his Inner Circle brothers.
