10 Wrestlers Who Must Win A WWE Championship By WrestleMania 38

1. Cesaro

If the Intercontinental Championship is deemed the workhouse championship, then Cesaro has to win it.

How can a guy of his abilities not already have a run as IC champion on his CV? It doesn't make sense, especially when you remember how long he's been on WWE's main roster; nine years. One United States Championship run and seven times as a Tag Team Champion have all come in Cesaro's direction, but it's the Intercontinental Championship that he actually needs.

'The King of Swing' has forever been on of WWE's greatest iron men (such a role in a Royal Rumble match surely awaits him), which he has previously proven in classic outings against Sami Zayn, Kofi Kingston, John Cena, and, most recently, Seth Rollins. His time on top - or at least as far as WWE will let him reach - is near.

Having confronted Roman Reigns on last Friday's edition of SmackDown, WWE clearly have strong ideas in mind for 'The Swiss Cyborg' post-WrestleMania. Because it's WWE, they're likely not heading in the direction of Cesaro dethroning, or even challenging, 'The Head of the Table'.

He is, however, the right guy to take the Intercontinental Championship from Apollo Crews.
