10 Wrestlers Who MUST Win A WWE Title In 2025

9. John Cena

If you're not a relatively new wrestling fan, the concept of advocating that John Cena needs to win a title sounds insane. For a decade, that's all he did, and fans begged for anything but that to keep happening.

But we're many years separated from Super Cena hitting his five moves of doom and carrying his spinner belt for nearly the entire year. It's actually been a long while since he's won anything at all, let alone a title, with his last reign being a transitional 14 day run in 2017.

This is Cena's last year, and with his retirement looming in December 2025, time is running out for him to accomplish two major goals that would not only be feel-good moments for the crowd, but put him on another level as a legend.

The first would be to win the Intercontinental Championship, which is the only thing holding him back from being a Grand Slam Champion. The other, and arguably more important, would be to win his seventeenth world title to break Ric Flair's record.

The Nature Boy himself has endorsed this, and given Flair's status as a perpetual public relations nightmare, WWE would be better off with Cena holding that distinction for the foreseeable future, if not forever.
