With each passing year, Karrion Kross loses more and more of his mystique. He was once the most dominant person in NXT and nigh-unstoppable, but when he was called up to the main roster in July 2021, it's as if he's been cursed.

He immediately lost his debut match to Jeff Hardy in under two minutes, was slapped with some awful red Demolition-looking outfit, got released, came back, and a few years later, still can't seem to gain any momentum.

We've seen years of this story that everyone he influences turns heel, but it never goes anywhere. He's constantly cutting promos about being intimidating, but never wins anything. The Final Testament is a towering, imposing group who spends all their time trying to recruit fellow losers to their cause seemingly just for the kicks.

Kross started off 2024 with a bad feud against The Pride and his biggest achievement was barely beating The Wyatt Sicks, who have also lost considerable momentum. At this point, if he doesn't win a title in 2025 to prove that he can take all that doom and gloom and convert it into true win-loss success that matters with a championship, he might not make it to 2026. This could be his last chance to get back on track.
