The past 18 months or so have been a roller coaster ride for Becky Lynch. From perennial afterthought, to The Man, it's been a wild time for The Lass Kicker.

2019 saw Becky cement herself as the star of WWE. Lynch's white-hot badass babyface act led to her headlining WrestleMania 35 alongside Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in a match that, let's face it, she was never meant to even be a part of.

Becky did what so many wrestlers can only dream of doing - she caught fire in a natural, organic way that made her undeniable.

WWE's hand was forced, Lynch became The Man at 'Mania, and she's since been the focal point of so much WWE programming throughout the remainder of the year. The problem that faces Becky, of course, is that wrestling fandom is often a fickle place, with the bubble always only one match or promo away from bursting.

Before you know it, it becomes cool for fans to turn their back on the one and the same act that they've spent the last few months or years adoring. Whether it was Hogan, Hart, Austin, Rock, or Cena, every top star has had to deal with that moment. How Becky Lynch handles her character in 2020 is going to be fascinating to see, and 2019 is going to be a tough one to top for Lynch.
