10 Wrestlers Who Peaked In WWE Developmental

2. Karrion Kross

There's plenty of time for Karrion Kross to put this right, but he better get a move on. The same goes for Scarlett, 'cause she hasn't had the same impact by his side on the main roster. Together, the pair have been teamed with AOP and veteran manager Paul Ellering as the Final Testament. It's so-so.

Raw's writers are matching SmackDown's by treading water with Kross. He was on top of the world as an unstoppable killer heel during a fearsome NXT run between 2020-2021. That included a memorable NXT Title win, a disappointing title vacation due to injury and then everything erm... well, everything fell to pieces.

Karrion's appalling 2021 run on Raw led to his WWE exit. Then, Triple H rehired him the next year and everyone recognised Kross's potential. He hasn't lived up to it/been allowed to live up to it thus far since returning. So, that NXT run is really peak Karrion Kross. It'll continue to be until he shows something more.

Is that ever coming? Fingers crossed.
