10 Wrestlers Who Quietly Retired
6. Perry Saturn
Perry Saturn was one of the most underrated professional wrestlers of the late 1990s, but by the time his WWE tenure had come to an end in late 2002 his name was added to the ranks of those wrestling fans had assumed just fell off the planet. Saturn worked for TNA for a short while as well as heading over to New Japan Pro Wrestling, but by 2004 his name wasn't one you heard in pro wrestling circles.
That is because Saturn pretty much did fall off the planet, spending two years living on the streets after drug addiction took control. The addiction spiralled out of control after Saturn stopped two men from raping a woman, getting shot in the shoulder during the altercation. Saturn had retired from wrestling not long before this to little fanfare, but his heroics didn't garner a whole lot of press either.
Perry Saturn was retired from professional wrestling, but the mentioning of his name was mostly followed by 'oh yeah, what happened to that guy?'. Saturn resurfaced in 2010, and wrestled his first match in seven years in 2011.
