10 Wrestlers Who Refused To Change Their Bodies
7. Carlito Refuses To Go To Rehab
He may have made a career out of spitting in the face of people who didn't want to be cool, but former WWE star Carlito also seemed to utilise this tactic when being nudged towards rehab in the latter stages of his run with Vince McMahon's company.
With Carlito being thrown into a duo with his brother Primo after a gradual ushering out of the spotlight as a singles star, it soon became clear that WWE weren't entirely confident in pushing the apple-spitting wrestler in quite the same way they once had. Perhaps the most obvious explanation behind this decline in trust was Carlito's violation of the Wellness Programme and his subsequent response to being pulled up.
Instead of heading to rehab to tackle his issues with painkiller addiction, Carlito declined and was swiftly given the boot shortly after.
Had the Colon brother decided to get his body clean in the immediate aftermath of said violation, maybe there was a world where he could've made his way back into the increasingly stale early 2010's main event scene.
