10 Wrestlers Who Refused To Work House Shows

10. The Ultimate Warrior

The Ultimate Warrior was notoriously difficult to work with. He infamously held WrestleMania hostage in order to squeeze more money out of Vince. But 1996 was the last straw. It was Warrior's third run with the company, and he no-showed several house dates. Outwardly, Warrior claimed he was taking time off to attend his father's funeral. And although his father had died, Vince called BS on that excuse €” the two of them were embroiled in a merchandise/licensing disagreement. Warrior and the WWE parted ways once again, and they wouldn't repair the rift until close to 20 years later, when Warrior was finally inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
