The Monster Among Men has cause for some great beef with the company, as although many superstars never live up to their potential, at least they can live on with the hopes of things getting better. With Strowman, that hope seems irrelevant, as the company have teased the big man with excellence so many times, only to pull it away from him continually.
There have been many occasions where Strowman has been on the cusp of greatness, such as his multiple World Title shots, winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, a Greatest Royal Rumble win, and even a run with the Universal Championship. Despite all of these accolades, his time in the main event is often brief and subject to baffling booking. While his position in the company is solid, it seems that their inability to go full in with the star must be a great cause of disappointment for him.
The writers also have a peculiar habit of making the Monster look foolish. His recent suspension after headbutting WWE official Adam Pearce made the star look particularly ridiculous, and since he is out with a knee injury, it'll be some time before he can redeem the narrative, giving him plenty of time to stew in frustration.
