10 Wrestlers Who Went From WWE Main Events To Jobbers
2. The Great Khali
It's a long fall from the top, particularly if you stand over seven feet tall.
Now, The Great Khali may not have been a performer capable of throwing together a five-star classic with whoever he was sharing the squared-circle with at any give time. However, he still felt like something of a big deal (in more ways than one) upon absolutely massacring The Undertaker on his first night in 2006.
Before long, Khali was rubbing shoulders with stars such as WWE Champion John Cena, even challenging him for his title on two separate occasions. Despite failing to win the world title during said Cena feud, though, Khali would soon taste his first piece of WWE gold after winning the World Heavyweight Championship in an impromptu blue show battle royal.
Yet, once the leviathan's belt was wrestled away by Batista two months later, Khali's run at the top would soon be taken away with it. Sickening vice grips were eventually replaced by goofy dance skits and a Punjabi Playboy was born, with his once terrifying aura being evaporated due to countless defeats at the hands of just about anyone available on either Raw or SmackDown.
