99.9% of people would shrug their shoulders if a worker mentioned TNA/Impact on WWE's product in 2021. It's been a long time since Impact was viewed as anything other than just another group vying for space on an already-mobbed wrestling landscape. Things were rather different back in 2010 though.

Naming the "competition" was a problem.

Kaval, who's best-known by hardcore fans as former ROH and TNA standout Low-Ki, decided to talk about "Total Non-Stop Action" during one of those ad-libbed promo skits on the old NXT variety show. He tore down Alex Riley, Michael McGillicutty, Percy Watson and Husky Harris (Bray Wyatt) with mild insults, then said TNA's full name.

There was a collective gasp, and it was almost like this rank "rookie" was directly speaking to Vince backstage. His provocative tone and wild, bugged-out facial expression screamed 'I'm shooting here, guys', but it wasn't the smartest move for an undercard hopeful at the time.
