10 Wrestlers Who Were Critical Of AEW

4. Disco Inferno

Google "Disco Inferno criticises AEW" and amongst the first hits are "Disco Inferno criticises Christian Cage's work in AEW", "Disco Inferno Criticises Overhyped Britt Baker For Having A Promo On Every AEW Show" and "Disco Inferno Criticises CM Punk & MJF For Referencing WWE Too Much".

Regardless of what you think of any of these individually, the mere fact that he can find so many problems with such a broad range of angles, characters and matches in AEW speaks to something a little deeper between Disco and the organisation. Or extremely shallow.

Or, realistically, both.

Inferno feels like he's trying to farm some clicks, listens and new bad faith actor fans from picking the platform, and he at very least got three views from this writer. There were plenty of others on the search too - he's far from a single issue critic of the product, and that's despite Cody Rhodes recently exiting.

More's the pity - had 'The American Nightmare' not massacred what might have once scanned as a legacy before an AEW bell even rang, he might not have been so suspiciously harsh from the off.
