10 Wrestlers Who Were Hated By The Locker Room

7. The Miz

Mostly, one can understand why the locker room despises one particular person. If everybody thinks you're a d*ckhead, it is very likely that you, are, in fact, a d*ckhead. The comments section being the rule-proving exception, obviously.

In a dark subversion of this "No, it is the children who are wrong" truism, the SmackDown locker room of the 2000s was riddled by horrendous overgrown kids high on power and the fake, worked strength with which they sold themselves as badasses. WWE's monopoly over WCW didn't just ruin North American wrestling as a TV product, with its deranged attempt to capture people who don't like wrestling with a product that barely resembled pro wrestling (!); it turned a pack of midcard acts and B-level headliners into thinking they were Jim Londos. They were among the biggest stars in wrestling...by proxy, and they thought a billionaire's easy victory was their doing.

"They" were your Undertakers, your JBLs, your Chris Benoits, your Hardcore Hollys, and they terrorised the developmental prospects because they were rancid, deluded men.

The Miz accidentally spilled crumbs on Benoit's bag and had an air of confidence about him.

His punishment?

He was forced to get dressed in a toilet for six months.

That'll learn 'im to have natural charisma and a shortcut to the fame half of them bumped stupid just to sniff.
