8. Seth Rollins

'The Friday Night Messiah' might not be quite as catchy as its Monday night variant, but a move to SmackDown is undoubtedly a good move for Seth Rollins. The former WWE and Universal Champion has been a mainstay of the red brand for years and years, winning everything there was to win and feuding with almost all the main names along the way.

Can Rollins replicate that success on SmackDown? That remains to be seen, but watching the self-proclaimed SmackDown Saviour try will inject a sense of freshness into Rollins that has been missing for a good while. Many of his frequent opponents have also made their way to Friday nights, but there is no reason why Rollins will end up feuding with Kevin Owens again.

He will almost certainly continue feuding with the Mysterio family, however. The feud has arguably been the best in WWE in 2020, no matter how long it has been drawn out, and it can now take place on a bigger network in front of a bigger audience.

Mysterio issues aside, Seth Rollins could find his own salvation on Friday nights.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
