10 Wrestlers Who Will Benefit The Most From The WWE Draft 2020

9. Elias

Elias made his grand return to WWE this past Monday, taking a guitar to the back of Jeff Hardy and returning to a more natural heel role in the process. The Drifter had been on the shelf for a number of months after tearing a pectoral muscle in May, although his recent return came a month or two ahead of schedule.

There is a lot of debate over what his ceiling is in WWE, but it is entirely plausible that Monday night could be a much better fit for Elias. The longer running time of the show gives him a little more freedom of creativity, and the bigger roster suggests a wider selection of opponents. RAW also has its fair share of top-level workers for the occasionally slovenly Elias to dance with.

A kick-off feud with Jeff Hardy is a great place to start. Hardy's natural charisma should give Elias something to sink his teeth into, and WWE's obsession with bringing up Jeff's past will almost certainly lead to memorable ditties from the guitar-toting drifter. Elias isn't going headline any WrestleManias, but the move to RAW may well help him reach his potential.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
