10 Wrestlers Who Will Define AEW's Future
1. Britt Baker
If AEW had its way, we all would have loved Britt Baker when she first appeared on our television screens. Unfortunately for Mr Khan though, the inconsistent performances, lack of connection with the fans, and continual references to her being a dentist meant that instead of being embraced by the fans, Baker was hated.
Surely Isaac Yankem should have been warning enough to AEW that dentists do not make for good babyfaces. Everybody hates them. Which is why the good doctor is now one of the most despised villains in the entire company, and one of AEW's breakout stars for 2020.
Relying on classic heel tactics, such as commenting on the fans oral hygiene, and even pulling an opponents tooth out on live TV, Dr Britt Baker, DDS has evolved into a very different breed of wrestler. She's one of the best when it comes to getting over, which is something many names on AEW's packed roster has failed to achieve.
If she continues the way she is, a run as AEW Women's Champion is in Britt Baker's future. By keeping the strap on her, and allowing her to learn from some of the best female athletes in the world, will only help her to improve even more, and maintain her spot as one of AEW's most intriguing talents for many years to come.
