6. Shinsuke Nakamura

It was a pleasant surprise to see Shinsuke Nakamura re-embrace the heel side to war with Seth Rollins over the World Title in 2023. Arguably, their rivalry could've been even better, but the angle Shin worked on Raw before the pair's 'Last Man Standing' match at Fastlane was stunning stuff and a real highlight.

The way a pre-taped Nakamura counted to 10 as the in-flesh version put Rollins down was a reminder of how killer Shinsuke can be in the heel challenger role. Ultimately, he was never winning the belt, but it says everything for the man that few were mad at the thought of him as champ.

WWE won't be Naka's final destination though. He'd make massive money by returning to Japan for a few choice cuts, and there's loads of potential in seeing Shin hit knee strikes aplenty on AEW shows like Forbidden Door too. The Japanese star is ripe for that kind of spot.

Money to make, and heads to Kinshasa clean off shoulders.
