No one is arguing that Cameron Grimes is one of the biggest names on the NXT roster. He's on television a lot and has had some decent spotlight time thanks to his involvement with Ted DiBiase, but the man is not destined to be a star on the main roster. He's not even getting the right booking in NXT.
With a gimmick as inaccessible as his and a look that is not going to be anywhere near the corporate mould image of a WrestleMania main eventer, he faces a potentially uncertain future in the company. Those who enjoyed seeing Cameron Grimes on the independent circuit wrestling as Trevor Lee will certainly be sad to see this, but there's not much potential to him as a typical Vince McMahon-approved star.
It seems that almost every wrestler in the company right now is at risk of being released, and unfortunately for the "richest man in NXT", he's more likely to end up being wished luck in his future endeavours than winning the NXT Title anytime soon.
