10 Wrestlers Whose Careers Started In The Worst Way Possible

8. Enzo Amore's Embarrassing Leg Break

Former Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore's WWE career couldn't have ended on a worse note in January 2018, when ghastly sexual assault allegations saw him jettisoned from the promotion. The case was later closed due to insufficient evidence, but while nothing else from his career compares to these horrors, Amore suffered an embarrassing road-bump little over a year into his training.

Enzo was signed on the strength of a compilation video sent to Triple H in 2012. He hadn't a single day of formal wrestling training under his belt prior to signing, and learned everything he knows about the business in the Performance Center. Mistakes were to be expected, but not to this extent.

Amore broke his leg while training in November 2013. According to Simon Gotch (who was in the PC at the same time), it happened as Enzo was trying to counter a wristlock - one of the most basic holds in any wrestler's arsenal.

A humiliating flub from a man who tried to blame it on the canvas being loose, and one that could've tanked his career entirely, given his inexperience.
