10 Wrestlers With Better Signatures Than Finishers

6. PAC

Better Than This
AEW

The finisher:

PAC's primary finisher is beyond criticism. It is arguably the greatest finish in wrestling, or at least the A to the 1 that is Kenny Omega's One-Winged Angel; the Black Arrow is a stunning feat of athleticism, visual theatre, and the admirable resolve not to tarnish its mythical aura for a cheap kick-out. The Brutaliser however has lost something ever so slightly since he debuted it to astonishing effect at All Out last year. And that's fine - as something to give a babyface who looks as gutsy just by surviving it, it's a superb secondary finisher that elicits live-and-die drama - but really, this isn't so much even a minor complaint than it is a 228-word celebration of wrestling's most-missed talent. PAC has a move in his arsenal so damn good that he needs to beat somebody with it to establish it as a finish...

The better signature:

PAC's Liger Bomb is absolutely superb. His immense strength and expert level of control allows him to make it look incredibly dangerous. He knows the precise millimetre with which to land it without breaking some poor prick's neck. The impact and pin attempt is seamless - in kayfabe, there is no need to waste a single millisecond - and his positioning of his legs obscures the head of his opponents, making it look, fleetingly but thrillingly, like he's just broken through the wooden boards with their skull.
