Orton's career stages can almost be identified by the way his body art has shifted and changed. His tattoos' evolving look have coincided with many of his character directions, like the brash up and comer, the dangerous viper, and now the WWE veteran.
Originally, Orton sported some classic tribal tattoos. They didn't have any specific meaning to them, but the designs on his arms and across his back did send out a great vibe and contrasted his clean look.
