10 Wrestlers With The Most Dangerous Auras Ever
8. Toshiaki Kawada
The Four Pillars of All Japan are known in shorthand for their respective predominant character traits.
Mitsuharu Misawa was the stoic, composed master.
Kenta Kobashi was the fiery, spirited sentimental favourite.
Akira Taue was the underrated one.
Toshiaki Kawada was the nasty c*nt.
The man was literally known as 'Dangerous K'. A gruesome striker who also had no compunction over spiking foes directly on the crown of their heads, he was a delightfully spiteful man who luxuriated in kicking opponents off the apron when they were completely unawares. Those strikes were beyond vicious, but he was equally effective when aiming weak, patronising kicks at his pitiable foes. He enjoyed torturing his opponents, mocking their weakness, which got him over as a pr*ck in addition to making the full brunt of the impact feel all the more shocking.
Kawada cycled through modes brilliantly; the inverse to Kobashi, when his eyes bulged in passion, it wasn't spirit but pure sh*t-kicking fury coursing through him. The man barely had any teeth. He looked like he was bred for the dangerous fight, and his aura was preserved throughout the King's Road era with his gloriously pissy refusal to accept that Misawa was always just ahead of him in storylines.
If he had to be second best, he made Misawa rue being the Ace.
