10 Wrestlers WWE Don't Know What To Do With

1. Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley can crow about his amateur wrestling and MMA background all he likes, but no self-respecting fan would take him seriously as a threat to Brock Lesnar in his current form. It'd take some seriously progressive booking before that was the case.

Although staunch WWE apologists may not like to admit it, Lashley was booked one million times better on Impact Wrestling as a snarling UFC-style bad-ass who could rip heads from shoulders without blinking an eye. There was a straightforward, believable method to TNA's booking, and it's one sorely lacking in WWE.

Nobody, not even a mountain of muscle like Lashley, can smoothly go from hamming it up in dreadful segments with Sami Zayn to challenging a realistic wrecking ball like Lesnar or working other top guys like Roman Reigns.

WWE seem torn between portraying Bobby's down-to-earth love of competition and clumsily shoe-horning in some forced personality he doesn't actually need. If he was stripped of the crap dialogue that exposes his verbal weakness and allowed to tear through opponents in competitive matches, Lashley might stand a better chance of getting over.
