How do you get 300 contracted wrestlers on TV at once? You don't.
Paul Heyman's departure from WWE's creative team will have Raw wrestlers worrying about their push.
Apollo Crews, Aleister Black, Andrade, Zelina Vega, and Murphy head the list of midcarders pushed to new prominence under the former Executive Director. His departure doesn't guarantee they'll be demoted, though the gap between their positions pre and post-Heyman could see them sweating. Even Drew McIntyre, who ticks so many of Vince McMahon's boxes, soared higher than ever under the former ECW booker, though his spot is likely safer than those further down the card.
Could any of the above names fall into a spot on this list by year's end? Hopefully not, though the possibility can't be dismissed. WWE abandons pushes all the time. Sometimes they don't give it enough time or take it in the wrong creative direction; with others, it just wasn't working, and the company's position was entirely justified. Both scenarios have a place on our list.
Listing the people released in April would be cheap. Note too that wrestlers currently off television as a result of the global health crisis - like Pete Dunne, Roman Reigns- and Sami Zayn - have not been included, though it'll be interesting to see if they are pushed when they return...
10. Riddick Moss
Last Win: 9 March (Raw)
Introduced as Mojo Rawley's musclebound sidekick earlier this year, former NFL player Riddick Moss quickly swerved his new ally, downing Rawley to capture the 24/7 Championship. No feud was built from this. Instead, WWE used Moss as a tool to try and reinvent the 24/7 strap as a more serious proposition, removing it from its wacky comedy world and having the newcomer defend it in traditional Raw bouts. A curious move, as the belt's goofiness was its niche, though Moss' run ended in March, when R-Truth reclaimed the strap while the champ was out jogging.
Since then? Nothing. Moss has fallen off the radar.
May brought a report that WWE hadn't given up on Moss yet, though this doesn't seem to be the case anymore. The man has been nowhere to be seen throughout the Empty Arena Era and there hasn't been a single indication that he has joined Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn in opting not to work through the global health crisis. He has vanished as fast as he arrived, the writers seemingly forgetting he exists.
