Under the name of Derrick Bateman, ECIII spent many years in the WWE's developmental territory and featured in season four of NXT. Unfortunately he was released from his contract shortly after, but rose to prominence in TNA as owner Dixie Carter's arrogant, villainous nephew. Carter's history with the WWE means he is already well-versed in the style the promotion expects their workers to stick to, and has used his time in TNA to improve in terms of both charisma and in-ring ability. Many are touting him as the next big thing for TNA, but if it can't find a new home post-Destination America, ECIII deserves a second chance in the big leagues. Perfect WWE Opponent: Dean Ambrose. The preened, narcissistic Carter would stack up so well against the WWE's favourite greasy lunatic.
