10 Wrestlers You Can't Support Online Without Being Abused
5. Triple H
Whether it's complaining about Triple H burying half the roster in his prime run during the 00s or being made the WWE World Heavyweight Champion as a 46-year-old part-time WWE official, internet fans seem to absolutely hate The Game. While the burial of certain performers as part of The Kliq and later the WWE's top man may certainly be exaggerated, there's no denying Triple H has a reputation for keeping certain performers down, one that he has owned up to in recent times. However, the constant complaining about Triple H winning the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble has quickly grown tiresome. They may not be able to see it in their state of pro wrestling angst, but Triple H being the champion before WrestleMania is the best thing for the company. As champion, Triple H is a recognisable face that is able to lose the WWE Championship on the Grandest State of the All without having his career suffer - because it's almost over - and it paves the way for the belt to be taken off him, giving the eventual winner (Roman Reigns) a significant career boost beyond that a regular WWE Championship victory would provide. Given that the WWE Championship scene has been relatively uninteresting since the title became vacant after Seth Rollins' injury, Triple H as champion creates genuine intrigue at a time when the company desperately needs a hook for fans. However, internet fans would clearly much prefer WWE slaps the belt on Dean Ambrose with no build-up whatsoever before he calls it a day, because that make complete and utter sense, yeah?
Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
