10 Wrestlers You Didn’t Know Made Cameos In Movies

1. Kurrgan - 300

Retired wrestler Robert Maillet is best known in the wrestling world for his WWE run as Kurrgan, introduced as a seemingly unstoppable member of The Truth Commission before turning face and joining The Oddities.

Per his colossal size, it's not terribly surprising that Maillet found a firm niche for himself post-WWE as one of Hollywood's go-to-giants. If you need an imposing giant henchman for your movie, you can do a lot worse than Maillet.

Maillet has appeared in a number of big movies in a recognisable capacity - such as Sherlock Holmes, Pacific Rim, and Deadpool 2 - though his most substantial role in a major motion picture was decidedly more undercover.

Maillet donned considerable facial prosthetics to play the Uber Immortal in Zack Snyder's 300, a muscular, scatted goliath who attempts to do away with King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and his small-but-mighty army.

You'd likely never guess it was him, but he absolutely delivered everything the part needed.
