10 Wrestlers You Didn’t Know Made Cameos In Movies

9. Kurt Angle - Pain & Gain

The Rock gets a much more significant role in Michael Bay's delicious black comedy Pain & Gain as coke addict ex-con Paul Doyle.

As Doyle explains his reformed ways, a flashback shows him getting into a fight in the prison yard, where he ends up throwing down with a fellow prisoner who just so happens to be played by Kurt freaking Angle.

Despite Angle's visibility among wrestling fans, the cameo is easily missed because he's only featured for around 20 seconds, during which Bay captures him mostly in mid-shots while frantically cutting around his face, giving only a few fleeting glimpses of that distinctive Angle noggin.

Still, it's by far the highest-profile role Angle's had to date, given that his attempt to break into mainstream Hollywood fare has mostly fallen upon deaf ears.

Getting to see Michael Bay directing One Last Match between Angle and The Rock sure is a trip, though, especially as this one ends with The Rock hurling a weight at Angle's face.
