10 Wrestlers You Didn’t Know Have Bad Reputations

7. The Undertaker

Christian Cage
WWE

The Undertaker never cultivated a reputation as an egomaniac who used his political muscle and close relationship with Vince McMahon to maintain his chokehold on the top of the card.

He seemed to appreciate that it was best for business to occupy the slot below during the Attitude Era, was satisfied to only win the big one when WWE needed a safe pair of hands, and per various reports was happy to end the Streak years before WrestleMania XXX.

The Undertaker did what was best for business, but his own idea of how business should be done away from the ring was, quite frankly, toxic. As the ringleader of Wrestler’s Court, ‘Taker made women cry for the amusement of himself and Bradshaw for some ultimately trivial infraction or other.

Also…

Politics is a divisive and alienating subject to cover, but the Undertaker - and you can Google this - was snapped in the mid 1990s wearing a t-shirt on which the Schutzstaffel (SS) logo was printed, which is absolutely unacceptable irrespective of whether you lean left or right politically.
