Bulldozing his way through the TNA roster back in the early-to-mid 2000s, Monty Brown definitely had the makings of a powerhouse superstar of tomorrow. Despite sitting as one of the most popular personalities on the show at that time, though, the company never fully pulled the trigger on an Alpha Male run with the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Rather than going on to prove all those who clearly doubted he had what it took to carry the big one in his former workplace upon eventually signing with the biggest wrestling organisation on the planet, however, Brown's time in WWE was about as unmemorable as they come.

Popping up on the aforementioned failed experiment of an ECW brand in January 2007, the newly rechristened Marquis Cor Von (later altered to Marcus) soon joined forces with Elijah Burke, Matt Stryker, Kevin Thorn and Ariel to form the New Breed. Remember them? No, no you do not.

The unit did actually get something of a surreal WrestleMania Moment in the end, battling against a team of ECW Originals at 'Mania 23 in a losing effort.

Outside of that bizarre but still somewhat unremembered highlight, Cor Von's time as part of the Ruthless Aggression era simply acted as another missed opportunity to create another big-time star. And the pouncing sensation would soon call time on his wrestling career in the wake of departer the promotion in September 2007.
